Produce Sales Associate

Summary

We are looking for a responsible and highly motivated Sales Associate who is ready to take on all sales responsibilities from generating leads to closing sales. Our ideal candidate will deliver a professional presentation to customers, and uphold the ideals and standards of our company. The successful Sales Associate will constantly strive to meet all sales goals and exceed customer expectations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction
• Work with customers to determine their needs and then recommend the right product to solve the customer’s problem
• Assist in ensuring that the product presentation area is clean and organized
• Develop and cultivate strong buying relationships with customers
• Send daily sales confirmations to customers.
• Review product availability to meet customer needs
• Work with other departments in the packing facility as required filling customer’s orders.
• Make sales calls to customers to take orders daily
• Maintain a daily customer call sheet to ensure all orders are taken on time
• Inform General Manager and/or Sales Manager if there are significant changes to an account
• Assist Sales Manager in sending out price sheets to customers
• Assist with answering phone and transferring calls to appropriate parties
• Other projects and duties as assigned
